This apartment is extremely comfortable, very clean, very quiet, and well equipped for living and cooking. It has a TV with access to a wide range of mostly French-language TV channels, but not a smart TV so no Netflix, etc. The WiFi is good, so anyway one can watch streamed shows on one’s laptop or phone. The apartment is well laid out with two bedrooms (one with twin beds), so can easily accommodate up to four people. In addition, the couch contains a foldout bed (I think). The location is lovely, on a residential street up the hill from St. George’s church. Very quiet and calm, yet only a few minutes walk to the old town, Bellecour, and Ainay neighborhood, full of good restaurants and shops, and also not far from the Roman ampitheatre and museum. It is also only a short walk from the St. Antoine market, great for food shopping. The owners were considerate and helpful. One note: Because it is up a steep, fairly narrow dead-end street, getting to the apartment requires a vigorous uphill walk (and not all taxis want to drive up the street). I enjoyed the walk, but it could be difficult for people with mobility limitations.

After two months of stay, I left the district of St-Georges and the old town. The apartment is ideally located and well equipped, very calm but also in the middle of the city. The owners are very friendly and give good advice.

This accommodation is very beautiful and well placed. It is located in a very quiet street. The view is very beautiful. The apartment is very functional and spacious. The owners welcomed us very warmly. I recommend.

“We stayed for a month and a half in the apartment, which is ideally located for enjoying the St Jean district and the Presqu’île. The plan of the apartment is optimized for a family of 4, it is pleasant to live in and very bright. Communication with Thierry and Christiane went very smoothly. To recommend for short or long stays in Lyon”
We stayed here for 5 weeks in winter 2020 (fortunately just before the covid crisis). I can’t say enough good things about this apartment – very highly recommended.
The location is perfect – in the centre of everything. (We enjoyed beautiful views of the holiday Ferris wheel lighting up the night sky over Bellecour). The apartment was roomy, clean, modern, and fully equipped. The owners, Christiane and Thierry, were friendly and welcoming.
