We loved staying in this beautiful, character -filled apartment in the vibrant “Old Town” district of central Lyon. It is blessed with a magnificent view to the Saône River and the Presqu’île . It was wonderful to cross the river and stroll along the St Antoine market place and purchase fresh local produce from the region. Additionally there was an art market directly in front of the apartment every Sunday. The apartment was extremely well-located to many excellent restaurants, cafes and bars and an interesting mixture of boutiques and shops.
The apartment itself was spacious and filled with light thanks to large windows facing the river from the living room and two bedrooms which both had an ensuite bathroom. .The kitchen was well-equipped and functional.
We rented the apartment for a 10 month stay and enjoyed our experience so much we rented it again for another 10 month period.
